Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ResiPage platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by ResiPage (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and ResiPage. Please read them carefully.

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is greater).
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
• Not have had a previous account permanently suspended or terminated by ResiPage.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• Promptly update your account information if it changes.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone.
• Notify us immediately at support@resipage.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Maintain only one account per person — multiple accounts may be removed without notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we have reason to believe that the information you provided is inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, or if you have violated these Terms.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Service. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Posting, uploading, or sharing pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene content of any kind.
• Using abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory language.
• Impersonating another person, organization, or entity, or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation.
• Uploading or sharing content that infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or any other system or network connected to it.
• Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or extract data from the Service without our express written permission.
• Engaging in any conduct that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or its servers.
• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any security or access control measures.
• Using the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional material without consent.
• Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund, at our sole discretion.

The Service allows you to create and publish a public resume page (your “ResiPage”) that may include personal and professional information, portfolio items, images, activity posts, and other content, as well as activity pages that allow third-party users to post comments (collectively, “User Content”). ResiPage operates as a passive hosting platform and technology provider — it is not the author, publisher, editor, or speaker of any User Content.

Ownership. You retain all ownership rights to User Content that you create. By posting User Content to the Service, you grant ResiPage a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

Your Sole Responsibility. You are solely and exclusively responsible for all User Content you post, including all activity posts and any content you share on your public ResiPage or activity page. ResiPage does not review, pre-screen, verify, endorse, or warrant the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any User Content. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to post your User Content.
• Your User Content does not violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Your User Content does not contain any material that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• You will not post User Content that harasses, threatens, or demeans any individual or group.

Platform, Not Publisher. ResiPage is an interactive computer service that provides infrastructure for users to publish and share their own content. Consistent with applicable law, ResiPage expressly disclaims liability for User Content generated, posted, or transmitted by users of the Service. We do not endorse, adopt, or assume responsibility for any opinion, statement, claim, or other content expressed by any user. Any reliance on User Content is at the sole risk of the reader or viewer.

Third-Party Comments. The Service enables third parties to post comments on a member’s public activity page. ResiPage is not the author of, and expressly disclaims all liability for, any comment or statement posted by a third party on any activity page. The individual who posts a comment bears sole and exclusive responsibility for that comment and any consequences arising from it. ResiPage has no obligation to monitor, screen, or remove comments, though it reserves the right to do so in its sole discretion pursuant to the Content Moderation section below. Account holders who enable comments on their activity pages acknowledge that they cannot hold ResiPage responsible for the content of any third-party comment appearing on their page.

You may delete your own User Content at any time through your dashboard. Upon account deletion, your content will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to any legal retention obligations.

ResiPage reserves the right — but not the obligation — to monitor, review, and moderate User Content at any time. We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, remove, restrict, or disable access to any content that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

Immediate Removal Without Refund. We reserve the right to take any ResiPage offline, suspend any account, or permanently terminate any account — without prior notice and without any refund of subscription fees paid — if we determine that the account or its content:

• Contains pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene material.
• Contains abusive, harassing, threatening, or hateful language directed at any individual or group.
• Promotes violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or discrimination.
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or constitutes impersonation.
• Violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Is otherwise determined by ResiPage, in its sole discretion, to be harmful to users, third parties, or the integrity of the platform.

In cases of serious violations — including but not limited to illegal content, exploitation of minors, or credible threats of violence — we will report the matter to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

If you believe content on our platform violates these Terms, please report it to support@resipage.com.

ResiPage offers two service tiers:

• Free plan — available at no cost; includes a custom ResiPath URL and access to the Elegant web template. No payment information required.
• Pro plan — currently $10.00 USD per month (introductory launch price; regular price is $15.00 USD per month); includes all templates, the custom page builder, PDF export, analytics, AI writing assistant, and all other premium features.

All payments for the Pro plan are processed securely by our third-party payment provider, Square. By subscribing to Pro, you authorize Square to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis on our behalf until you cancel. ResiPage does not collect, store, or have access to your card number or any sensitive payment details.

• Pro subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@resipage.com.
• Upon cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period; your account then reverts to the free plan.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as expressly required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to change Pro pricing with at least 30 days' notice to your registered email address.
• If your payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the free plan until payment is resolved.

Launch Pricing Disclosure. ResiPage is currently in its public launch period. The Pro plan is offered at an introductory price of $10.00 USD per month — a $5.00 discount from the regular rate of $15.00 per month. This launch price reflects the fact that the platform is actively being developed and improved. While we strive for a reliable experience, you may encounter occasional bugs, incomplete features, or service interruptions during this period. The $5.00 discount is provided in recognition of this, and we appreciate your early support as we work out the kinks. The launch price will be honored for the duration of any active subscription held at the launch rate, subject to the pricing change notice described above.

Free plan limitations. Free plan accounts are limited to the Elegant web template and do not include PDF export, additional templates, the custom page builder, or other Pro features. We reserve the right to adjust free plan feature limits at any time with reasonable notice.

No Refunds for Policy Violations. If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of these Terms — including violations of our Acceptable Use or Content Moderation policies — no refund will be issued for any unused portion of your Pro subscription.

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all proprietary content created by ResiPage, is owned by or licensed to ResiPage and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding.

If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please send a notice to support@resipage.com with sufficient detail to identify the allegedly infringing material and the basis for your claim.

Launch Period Notice. ResiPage is in active development. We are a small team building in public and you may encounter bugs, unexpected behavior, missing features, or brief service interruptions as we improve the platform. By using ResiPage during this launch period, you acknowledge and accept this reality. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and appreciate your patience and feedback.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• Any errors or defects will be corrected.
• The Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Any User Content posted on the Service is accurate, complete, reliable, or lawful.

User Content Disclaimer. RESIPAGE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR ANY USER CONTENT — INCLUDING ACTIVITY POSTS, COMMENTS, IMAGES, OR OTHER MATERIAL — POSTED, UPLOADED, OR TRANSMITTED BY ANY USER, WHETHER ON THAT USER’S OWN RESIPAGE, ON ANOTHER USER’S ACTIVITY PAGE, OR ELSEWHERE ON THE SERVICE. RESIPAGE DOES NOT ENDORSE, GUARANTEE, OR ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INFORMATION, OPINION, STATEMENT, OR CONTENT EXPRESSED BY ANY USER. RESIPAGE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE — IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE — FOR ANY CLAIM, DEMAND, OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY USER CONTENT. ANY DISPUTE ARISING FROM USER CONTENT IS SOLELY BETWEEN THE PARTIES INVOLVED; RESIPAGE HAS NO OBLIGATION TO INTERVENE AND IS NOT A PROPER PARTY TO ANY SUCH DISPUTE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RESIPAGE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, RESIPAGE AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM: (A) ANY USER CONTENT POSTED, UPLOADED, OR TRANSMITTED BY ANY USER, INCLUDING ACTIVITY POSTS, COMMENTS, OR IMAGES; (B) ANY THIRD-PARTY COMMENT POSTED ON ANY MEMBER’S ACTIVITY PAGE; (C) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT OR TRANSMISSIONS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RESIPAGE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your public ResiPage will be taken offline and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

ResiPage may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. In the event of termination for cause (violation of these Terms), no refund will be issued.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will remain in effect after termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at support@resipage.com and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
